Ingredient List

1 cup of pre-cooked maize flour
2 cups hot water
1 tbsp. butter

In a pot over medium heat, place boiling hot water and 1 tbsp of butter. Add maize flour and using a wooden paddle, mix continuously in a circular motion to prevent lumps. Once the texture of the food starts harden, reduce heat to low and continue to mix until consistency of stiff grits or polenta is reached. Remove from heat. Serve hot with stew or soup.
