Iced Green Tea

Mango Infused Green Tea

4 Cups hot water
2 heaping Tbsp. Gun Powder Tea leaves
1 cup of Sugar
Bunch of Fresh Mint Leaves
Mango Slices for garnish

Fill kettle with water and bring to boil over medium heat. Place 2 tsp GunPowder Tea leaves in tea strainer. Pour 4 cups boiling hot water into glass jug with tea strainer and 4 mint leaves. Steep tea for about 5 minutes.

In a saucepan over medium/high heat, combine 1 cup sugar with ½ cup water continue to stir until sugar is completely dissolved and simple syrup is achieved.
Remove mint leaves and strainer from jug and add 1 cup of simple syrup. Stir well and serve over ice and a mango slice for a delicious refreshingly cool drink.
